What am I doing?! I bought another guitar...

After a week of having an Aldi catalogue on my desk at work opened up to the section advertising musical instruments, I couldn't help myself and bought a semi-acoustic guitar. orz...I hardly play my electric as it is.

I tuned it up and practiced on it for a while after I got home. It stays in tune fairly well, but I kept wanting to sneeze for all the dust that comes out of the sound hole every time I strum the guitar! For a $150, it's not too bad. It came with a stand, plectrums (5), a lead, a strap and a gig bag. Having the guitar out on the stand will probably do wonders for my motivation. I think my main problem with the Epi was that it was in its case all the time because I didn't have a proper stand for it. If I left it out, I tended to randomly pick it up and practice while watching TV/animes/dramas.

The built in equalizer and amp is a bit of a dud. I can hardly tell the difference when it's on. Then again, I have a Cube 15 amp, so I was never planning on using it much anyway. It could probably do with another strap button near the heel of the neck. I'm not used to only having one strap button. It feels weird.

I also have to admit, the violin was looking pretty tempting too. I haven't picked up my viola in ages!! Maybe I should take it out when I go home to Melbourne this weekend and see how it's fared in the back of my closet all these years since 4th grade.

Now, if only they made clarinets too...Hehehe! (x_0)
